Managed It

We base our business model on the following 3 assumptions:

  • Computers will be with us for the foreseeable future.
Computers make it easier to create, manage, process, store and share data. We’ve been doing this in one form or another for 4000 years and we’re not likely to stop anytime soon.
  • Computers drive business profitability.
Computers make people more productive which is a primary driver of business profitability.
  • Computers have a 100% probability of failure.
As a mechanical device, a computer will simply wear out over time. The only question is: “When will it fail?”

We can divide your IT resources into 2 categories:

Category 1: Resources that give you the ability to create, manage, process, store and share data.
This includes:

  • Hardware
  • Operating Systems
  • Applications
  • Site for operations
  • Trained Users
  • Trained IT Professionals

Category 2: Data that you’ve created using Cat. 1 resources.

At this point many people start a debate about which resources are worth more. We believe this question to be largely academic because you need your data and the ability to use the data combined for your IT resources to be of any value to you.

However, what we feel is the most important priority for organizations is the continued availability of ALL your IT resources for the foreseeable future.
